Racing at Dixie Speedway
Dixie Speedway, 150 Dixie Drive, is a 3/8-mile clay oval dirt track on 150 acres between I-575 and I-75. Its season includes stock car racing, national and regional touring series, Monster Truck Nationals, sprint cars and waterless boat races, according to the speedway. Its 2026 season finale was Saturday, Oct. 10, with grandstand gates at 5 p.m. The 2027 schedule had not been posted; check in spring for a race on Father’s Day weekend.

The mountain bike trails are built and maintained with SORBA Woodstock; check trail status after rain. Hikers yield to bikes and travel in the opposite direction, the city says. - Woodstock Summer Concert Series, the second Saturday of each month from May to September, free, at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater. In 2027 the June date is Saturday, June 12, the weekend before Father’s Day; the lineup will be on the concert series site.
