Trunk-or-treats
Trunk-or-treats, where families hand out candy from decorated car trunks in a parking lot, are usually run by churches, schools and neighborhood groups. Apart from the outlet mall’s car show on Oct. 17, as of Oct. 11 we had not found 2026 trunk-or-treat dates posted by Woodstock churches, schools or neighborhood groups on their own websites. If your church, school or neighborhood is holding one, tell us and we will add it with the date, time and address.
Staying safe
- Trick-or-treat in groups, and keep younger children with an adult.
- Carry a flashlight or wear something reflective.
- Check candy before children eat it.
- Drivers: slow down in neighborhoods between dusk and late evening.
In an emergency, call 911. For anything else, Woodstock police calls go through Cherokee County dispatch at 678-493-4080.
Next year
This page keeps the same address every year. Next fall it will be updated with the 2027 dates for Ghouls Night Out, the Skelebration and any official hours the city sets.
