Getting there and parking

The city manages almost 2,000 public parking spaces downtown, on the street, in surface lots and in the City Center East parking deck, which opened in December 2024 with more than 600 free spaces. Woodstock Arts gives the deck’s location as the corner of Arnold Mill Road and Chambers Street.

Since July 7, 2025, four paid parking zones, fewer than 300 spaces, are enforced seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The first hour is free with registration, and you pay by QR code or text. That leaves 85% of spaces free and open for long-term parking. Paid enforcement ends at 8 p.m., so a car parked in a paid zone at 5 p.m. can stay until 10 a.m. the next morning. The city’s interactive parking map shows which is which. More in our getting around guide.
