Where Woodstock and Cherokee County public notices are published: the Cherokee Tribune, the state's notice site, city hearing pages and election notices. An index.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. This page is an index, not an official publication. It points to where governments in Woodstock and Cherokee County publish their notices. The legally required version of any notice is the one in the county’s legal organ or on the agency’s own site.

Many government actions must be advertised before they happen, such as rezonings, property tax increases, election changes and tax sales. In Georgia they are printed in each county’s legal organ, the newspaper designated to carry them, and many are also posted online. This index lists where to look for notices that affect Woodstock.

How to read a notice

A notice usually gives the body holding the hearing, the date, time and place, the property or matter involved, and how to comment. For a zoning case, the city’s Active Projects page adds the applicant’s statement and site plan, and you can email comments to planning@woodstockga.gov to have them added to the case file.

What this means for you
